There is a huge benefit to receiving a trained point of view that can help reveal points in your story that you may have otherwise never seen. What are the benefits?
Sometimes we can get trapped in our own stories and it can be difficult to look at them objectively. It can also increase your confidence in your project to have an understanding of what potential weaknesses may be hidden within it.
My background.
With a background in English Literature, a degree in Film and Television and working towards a masters in Film I have over 8 years of experience critiquing and analyzing story. I have broken down stories for coverage for both publishing houses and production companies. My ability to analyze story is something I am frequently complimented on by working professionals and what I consider my greatest strength. My passion for story knows no bounds.
What you can expect.
I like to keep my my responses casual and inquisitive. My goal is to create a friendly discourse in order to take your story to the next level. On your journey you’re going to be met with critiques, rejection and fake placates. Consider this service the first albeit invaluable first step to sharing your story with the world. However, should you be looking for coverage on your project, like that done in production companies then please see below options.

Consider everything 50% off . Whatever your page count or time stamp is half it and that’s the price.
You can also send in a one page summary or explanation of what your project is about for an additional $2. I recommend this so that I can better tailor my responses. See page format requirements below.

Completed Projects
Looking for an impartial review on how something reads, looks or feels?
For completed projects up to 100 pages/minutes the price is $40. After that add on half of whatever the additional page count/time is. E.g another ten pages or minutes is an additional $5.
You can also send in a one page summary or explanation of what your project is about for an additional $2. I recommend this so that I can better tailor my responses. See page format requirements below.

Face to Face Meetings
Want to talk through your project or throw some ideas around to bounce off of each other? Set up a zoom meeting and get your flow going.
For 30 mins and no previous prep the price is $15. It’s an additional $5 if you would like to send me a page summary/explanation in advance so that I also prepare some thoughts and pre-prepared questions for the meeting. If we get to the end of the meeting and you feel like you still need more time then there is an additional fee priced at half of whatever the additional minutes come to. E.g another ten minutes is an additional $5.

Coverage Report
$65
Send me a template of the type of coverage report you would like done and receive a professional example of how your story would be broken down in the hands of a company. This can be a great way to see how you can gain a step up in selling your story.
Also, if you’re a script reader and need to off load a few scripts and gain a jump start on the week ahead then this is a great way to do it.
Pricing is negotiable if you’re sending in a short story or short film.
Page Format Requirements
For Page summary’s and projects written in word docs must be sent with no smaller than one inch margins, 12pt (font type), and doubled spaced.
All written works must be sent as PDF’s.
*Additionally if you would just like to send in a one page summary/explanation and receive a response the price is $5.
